 | Bruce Cassidy, M.D. Bruce R. Cassidy, M.D. is a LASIK Surgeon in Maine and is a Founder of the first fully accredited outpatient eye surgery center in Maine. With over 25 years practicing ophthalmology, Dr. Cassidy has performed thousands of Laser Eye Surgery procedures in Maine since 1990. Along with partners Drs. Serrage and Holt, Dr. Cassidy was the first eye surgeon to introduce LASIK Eye Surgery in Maine and the first to bring Custom Lasik to Maine. He is one of only two eye physicians to be certified for cataract surgery in Maine by the American Board of Eye Surgeons. Dr. Cassidy has been awarded mini-fellowships for his work with Dr. Charles Casebeer and Dr. Steven Slade, experts internationally recognized for their advancement of RK and LASIK Eye Surgery techniques. A widely recognized innovator and expert in ophthalmic surgery, Dr. Cassidy is the Assistant Division Director of Ophthalmology at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine and an Assistant Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Cassidy is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Cassidy is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. A Maine native, he received his Medical Degree from Albany Medical College and trained in ophthalmology at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. Dr. Cassidy completed a Fellowship in functional and reconstructive ophthalmic surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston. Dr. Cassidy provides LASIK Surgery in Maine as well as Custom Lasik Eye Surgery. He also performs Verisyse and Visian Lens Implants for extreme nearsightedness.
Dr. Cassidy is a widely respected cataract surgeon in Maine, performing cataract surgery in Maine with multifocal presbyopia correcting intraocular lens implants such as ReSTOR, ReZoom and Crystalens in Portland.  | William Holt, M.D. William S. Holt, M.D., is a widely-respected expert in Ophthalmic Surgery and respected LASIK Surgeon in Portland. He is President of the Eyecare Medical Group, which pioneered advanced cataract surgery in Portland, glaucoma, Laser Eye Surgery, LASIK in Portland, Custom Lasik, Verisyse, Visian and other types of eye surgery in Maine. With over 25 years of experience in Ophthalmology, Dr. Holt has performed thousands of Laser Eye Surgery procedures in Portland, including LASIK, Custom LASIK and LASIK Eye Surgery in Portland since 1990. In addition he is highly experienced Maine Cataract Surgeon. Serrage, M.D. brings over 30 years of experience in Ophthalmology to her patients at the Eyecare Medical Group where she performs LASIK in Portland, Custom LASIK Eye Surgery and other types of LASIK Eye Surgery in Maine. A recognized expert in advanced surgical techniques for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism, Dr. Serrage was the first to perform laser refractive Laser Eye Surgery in Maine. She has performed thousands of Laser Eye Surgery procedures since 1990, including LASIK in Portland, Custom LASIK Eye Surgery and other types of LASIK Eye Surgery. Dr. Serrage received her Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and trained in Ophthalmology at Denver General Hospital in Colorado. She is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. With specialized training in all types of Laser Eye Surgery including LASIK and Custom LASIK Eye Surgery for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism, Dr. Serrage is also certified by the American Board of Eye Surgery as a subspecialist in cataract surgery in Maine.  | Jordan Sterrer, M.D. Jordan Sterrer, M.D. performs LASIK in Maine at Eyecare Medical Group in Portland as well as other types of Laser Eye Surgery in Maine for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Dr. Sterrer earned his Medical Degree from the SUNY-Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Eyecare Medical Group in Porrtland Maine, Dr. Sterrer was in private practice providing treatment of cataracts, performing cataract surgery and LASIK Eye Surgery. At Eyecare Medical Group, Dr. Sterrer will provide patient care including LASIK Surgery in Maine as well as treatment of Cataracts in Maine using near vision presbyopia correcting lens implnats such as the ReZoom Lens Implant and the Crystalens Lens Implant to help those having Cataract Surgery in Maine minimize their dependence on eyeglasses, bifocals and reading glasses.
